A. Britton O'Shields

Britton O'Shields was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Birmingham-Southern College, where she graduated with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies, and attended the Cumberland School of Law.


While at Cumberland, Britton served as a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow for the Lawyering and Legal Reasoning Department. Prior to joining King Simmons, she worked at the YWCA Central Alabama and served as an advocate with Crisis Center Birmingham.


She sits on the Junior Board of Directors for Magic City Art Connection and is a member of the Cathedral Church of the Advent. Britton and her fiancé live in Birmingham.
